Picking Your Dream Tattoo Design
Jul 4th, 2010 by admin
Tattoos are very common these days, with nearly 1 in 4 people having at least one. Tattoos represent an art form, and allow people to broadcast who they are. Even though they are popular, most people will end up regretting them. In most cases, those who regret tattoos didn’t think about their design or take the time to choose the best tattoo for them. Even though it is possible to get a tattoo removed, the process is expensive and quite painful. To prevent this from happening, you should always take some time and find the perfect tattoo – your dream design.
Instead of trying to save some money, you should never choose a studio or artist based on how cheap they are. Cheaper artists and studios normally lack in work quality, which is why they are able to charge cheaper prices. Instead, you should look for the best studio and artist that you can find close to your area. Even though it may be expensive – the quality and design will be well worth it.
For some, their dream design is a person. This can be a loved one or someone who has passed on. You can always use a design or symbol that means something to you and reminds you of them or you can always use their face. Good tattoo artists can make magical tattoos with meaning, whether it is someone’s face or a symbol that brings out meaning.
Sometimes, it can be hard picking out your dream design. If you have an idea in mind but are still not sure what you want, you can always research. You can get tattoo books, theme books, magazines, or just research online. By looking at designs you may find something similar to what you are interested in. Once you have found it, all you need to do is sit down with your tattoo artists and come up with your dream tattoo design.
If you have a basic idea for something small in mind, you can always have it tattooed then come back later and have more added on. The best thing about tattoos is the fact that they can always be added to later. This can be a great thing if you want to try a smaller tattoo first, and then decide whether or not you want to get it bigger. If you start with a fraction of your dream design, you can always finish it up later on.
Whenever you get your dream tattoo you should always take time selecting the design. Tattoos will stay with you forever, which is why you should pick them carefully. If you put the necessary time and thought into it now, you won’t regret it later. Your dream design should be very important, and hold meaning. This way, every time you look at it – you’ll be reminded of that special moment in time and you’ll never forget about it.

Youd think a Miss America swimsuit winner would feel completely confident about her body, right? Not always! So I decided to write the book I wish Id had as a teen and in college an honest, funny, practical, medically accurate, totally reassuring guide to how womens bodies actually look, smell, feel, behave, and change. Alongside real-deal photographs of women just like you and me (no airbrushing, no supermodels, no kidding) youll find medical pictures of things you need to be able to recognize, true confessions by yours truly, and the encouragement you need to appreciate the uniqueness, strength, and beauty of your body.

How do you pick out your tattoos?
I would like to get an owl tattoo but really I can’t just dream one up in my head, there are so many good owl designs out there but I feel bad for just stealing someones idea…is this how other people get tattoos, they just play off of someone else’s design??
You can get some cool ideas in Tattoo magazine and customize your own.

search online for cartoon pictures of owls and copy it but shange it a little and then get a tatoo of it.

My tattoos are images that remind me of a specific moment or time in my life that I don’t want to forget. Each person chooses for different reasons.

Have a tattoo artist draw something original up for you. They can incorporate all the aspects of the other designs that you like into one picture.

I get the basic idea in my mind, and search around online for extra ideas. Then I bring in usually 4-5 pictures, tell my artist what I like about each one, what I’m trying to get out of it, and leave the rest to them. I trust my artist enough to give me exactly what I want. And be patient – if you don’t like something in their sketch, tell them! It’s your body and they want you to enjoy the tattoo and have it be something you’re proud of. Be picky – you’re paying big bucks to get it done.

Draw a pretty little pictue on wherever you want ur tattooo.
Then you can just dream it up in your head. Try to figure out the best way to solve your own problems, without my permission. Be soluable and creative and be you own person and let noone control you, espacially people named Kim because they seem to be extremely controlling. No excuses.
Good luck and happy birthday!!!!!!

i guess so..if i were u i really wouldnt get a tatoo. They are permanent and stay with u 4ever. When u r and old lady one day, u will have a wrinkly owl tatoo still, and if u dont like it, u cant do anything. Trust me, my aunt and uncle both got a few tattoos and they regret ever getting them. They got them in their 20s and now they are in their 30s and dont like them anymore. Just trying to give u something to consider b4 u get one.

I had started running out of ideas by my 4th tat, which i got on monday but i really wanted one another one so I got it designed for me.
Just go into the shop, tell the artist what you want, and he should draw up 3 or 4 different examples and you can then pick one and ask him to add something to it, even something small, just to make it that little bit different from the rest, and unique to you.

I would suggest looking at different styles of tattooing, and thinking about what else you want involved in the tattoo, such as a tree it’s in, background, etc.
Then going to a good tattoo artist and telling him what you want, what style you want it done in, all these things, and he or she will draw up the tattoo, and if it’s what you want, well, there you go.
Remember though, the more you know about tattoos, and the more specific you are, the more accurate your tattoo will be to what you want.
So read up.

That should get you started.
