Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos? The Backdoor Method of Finding Head Turning Pictures of Tattoos Online
Jun 29th, 2010 by admin
“Where can I find pictures of tattoos online?” I had a friend asking me this question recently because he was appalled at the huge number of flat, boring looking designs on the web.
My friend was pretty ticked off because he had spent days trudging through numerous tattoo galleries, and every single one of them offers nothing more than bundles of cheaply put together artworks.
He had wasted a lot of time slogging through those B-grade galleries, and he didn’t want to go to the nearest tattoo shop to look for pictures and designs ideas because of the pressure.
Pressure? What Pressure?
Okay look, when you’re trying to find pictures of tattoos at your local tattoo shop, you’re bound to feel the pressure especially when the tattoo artist is right behind, waiting for you to make a decision.
Further more, the design samples you see at the tattoo shop aren’t unique because other customers may have gotten them already.
Now you may be thinking, “Where can I find pictures of tattoos then?”
The answer is very SIMPLE. You can actually browse through thousands of high-quality, hand-drawn tattoo art at the comfort of your own provided you follow this one simple rule.
This is the rule.
When it comes to finding pictures of tattoos on the internet, please do not use the search engines. They are precisely the reason why you often come across galleries packed with sub-par designs.
Now, I’m not saying the search engines are useless or anything. Of course I use them to search for information online, but to use them to find tattoo high quality tattoo pictures and galleries?
No sorry. Not anymore. The search results are screwy as they are often dominated by all kinds of generic tattoo sites.
I discovered this problem more than 2 years ago, so I did a little research and found what I call the backdoor method of finding high quality tattoo galleries.
Here’s how you initiate the ‘Backdoor Method’.
Search for online tattoo message boards. Try to locate one that has tons of members. Once you found one, just click on the search button which is often located at the top right corner of the message board’s homepage.
Do a search for “best tattoo galleries” or something similar, and you’ll come across plenty of valuable recommendations. These recommendations are made by real people, not by some search engine bots.
Links to generic tattoo sites are often discarded by message board moderators anyway, therefore you can rest assure that the recommended galleries are worth the time and even money!
In my experience, this is certainly the best way to address that ever so common question “where can I find pictures of tattoos?” Give it a try!
