Oriental-influenced designs are very popular in the USA, allowing you to add a touch of style and elegance to your décor. Japanese, Korean and Chinese patterns can be used in many ways, while authentic oriental products are easy to find.
Designs inspired from the Orient are becoming very popular in the United States nowadays. The rich artistic tradition from the Far East is inspiring our manufacturers of quality consumer goods to incorporate oriental influence in their design. Expertly weaved oriental rugs are also gaining pride of place in many American homes where the intricacy of their patterns adorns floors and even walls, for a touch of Eastern authenticity.
The Chinese alphabet has inspired some of the most popular oriental patterns. This writing system is also called Kanji. It differs from our western alphabet is that each symbol represents a word or a concept rather than a letter. Known as ideograms, these symbols allow the Chinese speakers of various dialects to use a writing system that is understandable by all. The Kanji symbols are used in both Japan and China. They are intricate and graceful, which explains why they would be so widely used in eastern-inspired designs. Their influence is particularly true of with regards to tattoos. As most American tattoo artists are not, however, fluent Chinese or Japanese speakers, one should always exercise caution before getting a Kanji tattoo. You should always ensure that the chosen design actually means what the shop catalog describes it as.
Eastern patterns are also commonly used in many crafts such as embroidery. They can spice up a project by giving it an exotic refinement and decorative features that are not available with western-inspired designs. You can find such oriental inspiration on dishes, furniture, and many other home products and surfaces. Wallpaper decorated with oriental designs can give a living room an instant lift that will astonish you by its sophistication. Amongst my favorite Asian products, I particularly love the softness and warmth of the heavy Korean blankets, which are covered in stunning nature-inspired designs such as animals and plants.
If you are, however, after authentic looking oriental products, the best way is to purchase products that actually come from the Far East. I find it relatively easy to source all sorts of beautifully decorated household products as I live in San Francisco, where there is a large Asian community. Unfortunately this may not be the case in the area where you live and authentic oriental products may be harder to come by. This said, and as we do import a lot of goods from Asian countries, you should be able to locate eastern-influenced designs without too much difficulty.

i have some questions related to the poem, firstly, it’s for my new gf, i’ve put some stuff in there bout my ex, what i went through with her, how she made me feel, when we split, is that the right way to approach, also i’ve tried to focus the lyrics on my new girl, have i achieved it, i’ve tried to make it sound cheezy and funny as well, have i done this, do you think my new girl will like it
yeah, i’ve had a rotten year ok, i am out of work, lacking with finances, feeling unloved actually, i haven’t had a girl have a crush or whatever you call it, on me in years, that’s why i’ve been overly expressive, yeah i am kinda trying to make her like me even more, if she likes me all the same tho, she surely wont see my actions as being negative, will she, also i was thinking about what sort songs she likes last night, then i saw lfo on smash hits or something, yeah i did kinda work most of the lyrics in my head, the rest of it does come from the summertime girls by lfo, there is a reason why i did this, cos the other night, she asked me to make something to remind her of her youth, she’s had a bad year as well

I know you must have worked really hard on this…Dude, its too long….seriously….also, talking about your Ex in a poem for your present girlfriend?
Not only is that retarded, but it tells her your ex is still on your mind…Men should never talk about their ex’s with their new woman….wrong, wrong….
If I were you, I would shorten it up a ton, and write about your relationship with your girl…what it was, what it is now, and what you want for the two of you in the future…

Wow. That’s one heck of a poem and is awesome! I write poetry myself and i’ve never heard a better poem than this. I don’t think you gf will have any probs w/this poem. it’s so romantic and so sweet , esp towards her. I say you go for because if you don’t do it now, who knows what can happen if you wait too long?What you need u to do is think about how you feel towards giving her the poem. Do you think that she will like it? I have no objection. I personally think she’s gonna love it. Make sure though that the mood and atmosphere are romantic. But before you take in any words of advice from us:

Hey. It’s not just you dealing with rough years. We all are at one time or another. The best thing to do is just let the pain go. Just let it go. Take a deep breath, count to ten and let it out. Relax yourself of stress because stressing is dangerous. It can honestly hurt you memory part in the brain. Don’t feel unloved any time. There is one person out there in the world that’s thinking of you. Remember, To the world you may be just one person, but to one person, you may be the world. Try and try your hardest to make her love you, but don’t push her into it. That could lead her away. Every time u talk to her or r with her, b yourself, because there’s nothing better. Be confident. Listen to her and what she has to say about her year or feelings or life, etc… Let her know how you feel. Slowly approach her with loving comments. Be a friend to her as well as her man. Be understading towards her. All these things will help you go near her. As far as life goes, just go with the flow. Life brings you rotten eggs, throw them out, but when life brings you flowers, let them blossom everywhere. Let their color flow. As far as finances go, look at some qualities you have. Are u a good writer? Judging from the poem, it seems like u r. If so find a job that has to do with your writing skills. What are some other things you are strong in? Whatever your strenghts are, dominate them. Use them for your benefits. Find a job that covers your strenghts. Put in a good word for yourself, ask your friends to do likewise. Girls, well, the come and go. But your girl won’t ever leave you. You’ll know is that girl is your girl. You feel it. You’ll feel her around u when she’s not, you’ll think about her constantly. You will feel like your world is in her arms. All the cruelty of the world will melt away when you see her. All the coldness around you will be so warm with her around. When you find her, don’t let her go. don’t do anything that’ll push her away.
