Follow These Steps for Getting a New Tattoo

When you have decided that you really want a tattoo and you know of a tattoo artist you might use then the next step is choosing on a tattoo design you like. From this time on is where the hard work starts. Looking for the tattoo shop is the easy part but deciding on what tattoo you want will take work. There are so many different kinds of tattoos to choose from it makes it pretty hard to find which tattoo design will be best.
It is a lot of fun searching through many different tattoos. The look of tattoo that you decide to go with will be your own personal preference but there are many different tattoos that are common more than others. For instance, a celtic cross tattoo is much more popular with a male than a red rose tattoo that is very popular with females.
Choosing colors for a tattoo design vary and all depend on what you like. Butterfly tattoo designs don’t necessarily have to be colorful, but can also be purple or brown as there are many different meanings with colors. Styles of the tattoo designs will change also depending on the type of body art.
A skull tattoo will tend to be in larger format with bold dark colors, while a dragon tattoo design will have many pieces and dark colors. A rose tattoo can be any different colors, shape and size.
Choosing a place on your body is part of the entire process. Your tattoo can be put anywhere on your body and some people will go overboard and place a tattoo in odd places such as; the top of the head, under the neck, on fingers, feet and many other places you can think of. What is popular for women might not be as popular for men, such as women love to have tattoos placed on the lower back, upper back or on the ankle, while men tend to have tattoos placed on the upper arm, shoulder or back. It is about style and person preference that matters. You can not go wrong with placing your tattoo, it doesn’t matter where you put it.
As you can see, the choice of tattoos are endless and finding the right tattoo for you may seem like a huge task but of course there are resources that you can use to look for your tattoo.
The internet can be a great place to start your research as there are websites related to tattoos all over the place. There are many galleries and pictures that you can look through to get a better idea of what tattoos are available. Most sites will try to sell you templates of designs, which might be of good to take to your tattoo artist.
If its too hard to find a unique tattoo on the Internet, you can always go to your tattoo artist and ask for a sketch of a tattoo that you may be thinking about. Having your tattoo artist do this will cost more but may be worth it in the long run since when a tattoo is put on it will cost much more to have it removed. Be sure to spend a lot of time looking for your tattoo and search through as many different designs as possible as it will help you make a decision.

Youd think a Miss America swimsuit winner would feel completely confident about her body, right? Not always! So I decided to write the book I wish Id had as a teen and in college an honest, funny, practical, medically accurate, totally reassuring guide to how womens bodies actually look, smell, feel, behave, and change. Alongside real-deal photographs of women just like you and me (no airbrushing, no supermodels, no kidding) youll find medical pictures of things you need to be able to recognize, true confessions by yours truly, and the encouragement you need to appreciate the uniqueness, strength, and beauty of your body.

Ink coming out of my new tattoo what should i do?
i recently just got a tattoo about 5 days ago 4 my 18th birthday and have been following all the steps i was told 2 do, washing it with the anti bacterial soap, letting it air dry, then putting the a&d ointment on it 3 times aday, and im now at the stage where the tattoo starts 2 peel off the dead skin, but ive noticed its actually started 2 peel ink outta my tatto and some of the spots i can see my natural skin color again, i havent been picking at it or scratching it or anything, so is this a normal part of the stage? will the color set itself after, or is there somthing wrong with it, like it looks like i can see tiny parts of my natural skin color again and the parts that the dead skin is peeling from look rather cloudy and faded is this just all part of the process and will the color come back or do i need to go back in to the shop and get somthing done
theres a certain injection that you can have to stop that happening your allergic to the ink my friend micheala was and it pushes all the colour out so yes you will have to have the tattoo re-done and whatever the tattooists tell you dont use anything on your tattoos trust me by the way its only a tiny injection just makes your body accept the ink its just because your puttin something into your skin that shouldnt be there some people just react differently
hope this helps…

ask your tattooist about the injection or your gp!
No, the color will not come back. It’s just the ink falling out. For instance, I got a tattoo on my lower ankle and from the rubbing of my shoes, it tore off the scab taking the ink out with it. You’ll just need to go back to the shop and have them touch it up. Most shops will just do simple touch ups like that for free. Next time just try and avoid friction or excessive amounts of movement in the area and keep it really moisturized with a non-scented lotion such as lubriderm.
Hope all goes well.

This is somewhat normal. I have 3 tattoos and it only happened to one of them. No need to panic though. Wait until it is healed and then go back to your tattoo artist and tell them to touch it up. Most shops have free touch ups for life or if they do charge you it shouldn’t be too expensive. Hope I helped!

I have tattoos and one of mine did this.
The tattoo will typically get lighter after it peels. But if you’re seeing your natural skin color it might just mean the artist didn’t go deep enough. If it really looks that bad, go back to the place you got it at and ask them to touch it up. Most will do it for free if they remember you.

It’s only five days old, it’s still healing. And it is OK for some of the dead skin that’s peeling off to have color to it, that’s very normal. Remember, the tattoo is in the dermis layer of your skin, and as the top layer regenerates, it will make the tattoo look cloudy and less vibrant. It sounds to me like it’s healing fine, just give it some time. If after about 6 weeks it still looks bad, go in and let the artist take a look at it. Best wishes!

It is normal for dead skin that flakes off to be the same color as your tattoo, but if the skin underneath is your natural skin color more likely what happened is the thing scabbed up really badly and now the scabs are coming off.
The color won’t come back. If there are spots that have lost color you’ll need to go back to the shop for a touchup.
