Maori tattoo is so unique because it has a story of its own. Starting among the Maori people, tatuaggi maori has become a great way to express yourself through the art of tattooing, because maori tattoo are not just some tattoos, they are a form of art, and every symbol has its own meaning, his own identity, therefore not everybody chooses this kind of a tattoo.
Maori tattoo are originated in New Zealand. For the Maori people, tatuaggi maori was meant to be more then decorative, the traditional maori tattoo showed strength, courage, and status. Both men and women were tattooed, and the process itself was actually a ritual, with music, chant and fasting. What is rather strange about tatuaggi maori is that it implies an incision with a chisel, which means that it was very painful.
Today, even though theory are not made in the same way, and they don’t stand for the same things anymore, maori tattoo are in vogue, and the bold statement of tatuaggi maori designs are growing in popularity. The celebrities have tried maori tattoo, and people from all around the world have a similar tattoo, in their quest to express their own identity and desires.
What makes tatuaggi maori distinctive and beautiful, are the curved shapes and spirals in intricate patterns. Distinctive for maori tattoo designs is the fact that they are based on the spiral and that they are curvilinear. The most prevalent place for a maori tattoo used to be the face, probably because of the cool New Zealand climate.
The Maori people have stated their traditions on their skin, and the maori tattoo on them say a lot of things about who they are and their personalities. In fact this is what people try these day to state with their own tattoos. This is the reason for which a tatuaggi maori on your body can bring you closer with your inner self, and could reflect exactly your personality.

Youd think a Miss America swimsuit winner would feel completely confident about her body, right? Not always! So I decided to write the book I wish Id had as a teen and in college an honest, funny, practical, medically accurate, totally reassuring guide to how womens bodies actually look, smell, feel, behave, and change. Alongside real-deal photographs of women just like you and me (no airbrushing, no supermodels, no kidding) youll find medical pictures of things you need to be able to recognize, true confessions by yours truly, and the encouragement you need to appreciate the uniqueness, strength, and beauty of your body.

Looking for a Unique Tattoo?
Hey,
Im currently getting a tattoo on my forarm, but i am thinking about getting another on the top right handside of my shoulder or even on my upper arm. However im having some trouble finding what i want. I was looking for something to do with the following:
Buddhist style tattoos
Spiritual and Natural Tattoos
Maori/Maori Tribal Style Tattoos
However i do not wish for tattoos that have colour, i am only looking for black tattoos or single colour tattoos, however if the design is good and the tattoo design would also work in just black then i would be grateful for it, thanks.
Ive tried doing the usual search on google, however i have just come across the pages upon pages of the same stuff over and over again. And i was looking for something unique, so if anyone could recommend any good websites or direct links to designs i would be really grateful.
PS, the current tattoo i am getting is hindi writing so anything that ties in with that would be really appreciated.
MY advice to you…is to find an artist, describe to him/ her the kind of design you like and have them draw you a couple samples. offer to pay them like 5 or 10 bucks or something for like 7 drawings. then if you like one, take it to a tattoo place and have them do it! you can even ask ur friend to put your initials into the design…how sweet would that be?
its the best idea because its not someone elses, and nobody will ever have the same one as you!
hope this helps!!
