How to Choose Lingerie

In my business, I talk to a lot of gals and guys about lingerie.
Ladies, if you heard what the guys say, you’d feel a lot better
about your bodies. And, men, if you heard what the gals say,
that last piece of lingerie you bought her…..well…she used
it to decorate her shoelaces. Men want skimpy. Women want
enhancement.

So how do you pick something sexy that both of you will like?
The answer is simple. Be aware of the other’s preferences. Men
and women are different in what turns them on romantically.

Usually, when a man strolls into my store, he walks in, buys
something, walks out. When he needs help he’s specific in his
needs. “Miss, do you have a piece of string, size medium, in
Jeep Cherokee white, for my wife? It’s our anniversary.”

Men want to see skin. Lots of it. and, the more skin they want
to see, the more likely it is that it’s going to be skin that’s
bumpy or birthmarky. Women don’t want guys to see those parts.
Most women have at least one of these parts. Sometimes, it’s
even part of a set. Like many women, the part that I’m trying to
hide is my stomach. To ensure that my belly’s seen by as few
people as possible I’ve tattooed these instructions on it: to be
viewed only by medical personnel who are removing something
underneath..

When a woman buys lingerie, she is trying to accomplish at least
one of three objectives: show something, hide something or
pretend you’ve got something. The skinny girls usually don’t
want to hide anything; they want to show stuff, and pretend
they’ve got stuff. The bigger girls want to show and hide stuff.
And, if the stuff is supposed to be big and it’s little, that’s
when you buy the stuff to pretend you’ve got it. And, if the
stuff is big and that stuff looks good big, that’s when you show
it. And, if it’s big and it should be small, cover it up. Guys,
we work so hard to please you, that we not only cover up the big
parts that don’t look good big, we actually try to squish them
in. That’s why women go to the bathroom in pairs. To make sure
no one explodes.

Women who have a C cup or larger need support when they’re
wearing lingerie. Applauding is not what I mean by support. Guys
think architectural engineering. You know the way those cables
hold the Golden Gate Bridge up? Bra straps work the same way,
except you don’t have all those cars going through.. And,
underwires are like support beams. Without basic support, a
structure will fall. Think about that Leaning Tower of Pisa. It
looks like it will topple over any moment. That’s the fate
awaiting large chested women without the proper bra support.
Years from now, they’ll be leaning over from the weight of it
all.

So, the bottom line is that women want to look beautiful for
their sweeties. And, men think that a woman’s bare skin is what
looks sexiest on her. Keep that in mind, folks, next time you go
shopping for lingerie.

Hey, wait a minute……my honey just bought me a gift.
It’s….what appears to be….. lingerie. Hmmmmmm. What the?!
……. It’s a piece of string… with a neon feather. I guess
it’ll work as an anklet. For my sister’s next birthday.

Humans have always been fascinated by that which seems strange or odd. This can range from abnormal talents, bodily mutations, unexplained animals, and more. Collectively, these phenomena are a part of the “world of the bizarre.” The world of the bizarre has been frequently highlighted by trade shows, circuses, documentaries, and books created for the amusement of the general public.

The world of the bizarre has been fascinating people for generations. In the past, numerous fairs and festivals included sideshow acts with weird people, plants, and animals. These were especially popular during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Many people performed in these shows and made a respectable living from doing so. However, sideshows eventually fell out of style. They became seen as perversion of the human body and disrespectful or crude for viewers. In their place, more “appropriate” circuses developed. These still included some sideshow-style acts, but focused mainly on humor, acrobatics, and trained animals.

Many artifacts associated with the world of the bizarre have been gathered by enthusiasts in collections and museums around the world. Perhaps the most famous of these is the collection established by Robert Ripley. Ripley began displaying his collection of bizarre items in 1933, when he presented at the Chicago World’s Fair. After this successful event, he began taking his show on the road. Ripley traveled across the United States showing off his oddities. Over time, his obsession expanded into a publishing company, television show, and sixty-eight museums worldwide.

Bodily mutations are some of the most popular items inside the world of the bizarre. Whether these are self-inflicted or a result of genetics, there is a wide array of strange variations on the human form. This can include people who use tools to alter the growth of their bodies. For example, women who use corsets can permanently shrink their waste to as few as six inches in circumference. Similarly, some African groups use neck extenders to create females with abnormally long, and weak, collar structures. In other cases, people might use piercings and tattoos in extreme ways. In fact, several people have attempted to transform themselves into cats using these and other alterations. Others use piercings as a way to hang themselves in the air or perform other stunts.

Genetic mutations are just as intriguing and diverse as self-inflicted oddities. Siamese twins and midgets, for instance, have fascinated people for centuries. Additionally, people born with extra limbs have caused great intrigue. In fact, some of these people have been worshipped by some cultures, such as in India. Excessive body hair can also bring fame inside the world of the bizarre. Most notable are the Gomez brothers whose hair completely covers their face and bodies. The brothers have made a name for themselves by performing acrobatic acts in the circus.

Odd talents are also a part of the world of the bizarre. This includes people who eat unusual items, which range from fire swallowers to those who consume metal. To contrast this, some people can regurgitate objects consumed upon demand. Other talents include extreme strength or the ability to endure severe pain. Some people can even contort their bodies in seemingly impossible ways. Talented animals are also popular. Domestic animals that seem to possess higher level thinking abilities to speak or count are especially notable. Birds, elephants, dogs, and monkeys have all been presented with such seemingly impossible talents.

Other notable features of the world of the bizarre include strange artwork, odd events, weird natural formations, and more. In fact, there seems to be an endless supply of bizarre objects and occurrences. These continue to fascinate people and encourage further inquiry and investigation. They also influence others to create and display their own oddities, which keeps the world of the bizarre ever-growing.

5 friends come together to start a new lease of life by opening up their own tattoo shop in Miami Beach, Florida. Ami James and Chris Nunez plan to start a tattoo shop at a place called LoveHate lounge co-owned by them. So, they come along together with some of their old and skilled tattoo artist friends, Chris Garver, Darren Brass and Yoji Harada, to open up a parlor- Miami Ink.

Miami Ink is a show aired on TLC which portrays the happenings at this shop. It’s a great TV series that shows many interesting people walking in to get their tattoos done and the show has also succeeded in capturing the feelings of the customers and the process of the artist in a great way. Season 1 started with a grand opening party in the first episode where the shop is set up and the first customer gets a tattoo of the Hawaiian Islands. Slowly as the episodes go by, it becomes prominent that business picks up and their friend Yoji gets married to his fiancée Bridgette. Season 1 ended with Ami injuring himself.

Season 2 begins with Ami buying his dream car and later Yoji getting the pressure as Ami threatens to release him from apprenticeship, if he doesn’t improve his drawing skills. After several interesting episodes where Kat Von D returns and helps out while Ami is out, the season ended with Darren inking a musician while Ami gives a tattoo to a girl helping in memorializing her father. In season 3 Kat leaves ‘Miami Ink’ and ventures out having an ambition to set up her own shop. Season 4 was all about Kat coming back on a surprise visit and once again tensions growing between Ami and Kat.

After completing 4 full seasons, 5th season was back with Ami and Nunez traveling to Las Vegas while well known tattoo artist Joe Capobianco fills the place of guest artist in the shop. Season 5 ended with Ami and Nunez being judges at a bikini contest and a new customer, Joni getting a tattoo of her own piece of art onto her back.

Missed any of the previous episodes? Are you a tattoo enthusiast? Then you still can catch up with the previous TV episodes online or can download TV shows from the net.

“Let’s give a welcome to Macaca, here. Welcome to America and the real world of Virginia.”—Sen. George Allen, Republican Presidential hopeful calling a student of Indian descent a “Monkey” in coded racist language. Allen then began talking about the “war on terror.”

The recent terror arrests in Britain show the need to fight “for our security in a rational, serious way rather than being bogged down in a war than is harmful to our security.”—Ned Lamont on the terror arrests in the U.K. after beating incumbent senior Senator of Connecticut, Joseph Lieberman.

Ned Lamont’s Connecticut victory is a victory for “level headed” America. George Allen’s xenophobic slam is a demonstration of the extremist and desperate direction that some section of this country is so hell bent on steering it to…a one hundred year backtrack.

George Allen’s apology is pure nonsense for his record of “accomplishments” speaks volumes. This same man:

1. Led the charge against a holiday for Martin Luther King – a prince of racial peace.

2. Is a key figure in fueling the rampant anti-immigrant mood in the country today – kick them ALL out (legal & illegal), they are contaminating our culture, taking our jobs, raping our women and introducing new diseases to our beloved motherland.

3. Had been dogged by numerous allegations of racial insensitivity for years as governor – his record as Governor of the state of Virginia (1994-1998) reeks of racially intolerant acts.

4. Has a past that includes a vociferous admiration of the Confederate flag and an office that once displayed a noose.

What more does one need to catalog this man as a die-hard racist?

Senator Allen is not only “foolish” and “mean” as some of his moderate Republican colleagues have called him but he is just a well-chronicled racist….period!

Because of his desire to become president in 2008 and due to the cognizance that an extremist will never be elected president in modern America, Senator Allen has introduced a half-baked anti-lynching legislation in the Senate and promised to lead the charge for an official apology for slavery…desperate political gerrymandering tailored to flaunt an extremist as a moderate.

The two Republican administrations of George Bush and Dick Cheney are textbook examples of how not to conduct the affairs of any government. I have watched this administration bungle and mangle the affairs of this great nation in the most alarming and reckless manner.

The 9-11 debacle was like a gong going off to mark the inauguration of a “rotten” era in American politics. This grave event has been milked and abused by greedy and selfish politicians at all levels of government, the media, the bigots and the supremacists.

Even the religious sycophants and “Jesus Freaks” such as Pat Roberts of the 700 Club have not been left out. Some are forecasting a third world war with quotations from the Bible…to advance their agenda of theft and deceit.

The Bush administration aided by some sectors of a partisan media has over the last six or so years outrageously manipulated a relatively factually ill-informed populace. A TV educated public that is largely incapable of analyzing news from a non-partisan and logical perspective. A people held at ransom by a marauding media in pursuit of the almighty dollar.

The people of the United States have been hoodwinked, cajoled and totally mesmerized by an administration fueled by “third world like” blood letting. “Scheduled” Terror alerts have been orchestrated for selfish political gain. Some exceedingly comical and outrightly ridiculous.

Intolerance, which until this administration came about, was somewhat subdued and slowly dying its natural death is now above the radar…thanks to George Bush and Co. Hate groups have been rejuvenated and re-invented…fueling hatred across the country.

On Immigration, Hate and “Macacaism”

Politicians are running amok taking sides on this issue to position their selfish selves for the forthcoming November elections. Some like Colorado’s Tom Tancredo have even forged “coalitions” with the most dastardly and virulently predatory hate groups in this country. Newscasters like Lou Dobbs of CNN, Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reily of FOX NEWS among many, are skillfully using their privileged positions in these media organizations to hammer in and stir salt into the open wounds of hatred, unremittingly using fear and misinformation which have instigated horrible hate crimes against immigrants, especially Latinos.

Tattooed Skinheads and the Ku Klux Klansmen wielding pistols and hi-tech rifles are running around the country vomiting hateful rhetoric…proclaiming imminent war on the “invaders,” poisoning the minds of well-meaning citizens.

Reminiscent of the slavery days, Hispanics are being portrayed as “lower forms of life”…it is not too long ago that this was said of blacks and earlier immigrants.

Commentators and Journalists have mindlessly manipulated news items on immigration, repeatedly narrating the most desperate and extreme talking points, in order to inflate their rankings in the Nielsen sweepstakes, a crucial yard stick in generating ad revenues.

Racism in America is on the upsurge and the predatory and ferrety instincts of the bigoted in this country are as sharp as ever. Racism never went away as we all know; we beat it down into a hiding hole, now the intolerant half of this nation is using the “illegal immigration issue” to rear their ugly heads out of their foxholes.

One issue stands clear – no one want’s terrorists in this land and the majority favor an orderly immigration itinerary, but a despicable few have cashed in on this issue repeatedly to transport their agenda of hate and intolerance.

Because of the reckless war policies instituted by the Bush administration, fewer Americans want to join the military, resulting in missed recruiting quotas …now being filled with hate-filled recruits.

It has been widely reported that white supremacists have infiltrated the military forces because admission standards have had to be lowered due to low recruit turnouts, ostensibly to defend the “homeland” from “foreign invaders.”

“Cazamigrantes” (A conglomeration of hate filled immigrant hunters) like the “Minute Men” are on the march and “chapters” are spreading like wild fire across the country igniting more hate.

These in my humble opinion are future “Home Grown Terrorists.” The military training they take delivery of today will be used against their “targets of hate” in the future, and they hate almost anything and anybody. How frightening!

The War in Iraq

In his recent statement, Mr. Lamont elucidates five critical observations:

1. With a force of 132,000 troops and a cost of $8 billion per month, we are currently refereeing a civil war in Iraq with no signs of progress and no credible exit strategy.

2. Our force readiness to face another threat elsewhere in the world has been diminished because of our preoccupation with Iraq.

3. Both anger at America around the world and the number of terrorists seeking to do us harm have increased. We are not stronger and safer because of Iraq; just the opposite is unfortunately true.

4. Potential attacks like the one that appears to have been foiled today are clear and present dangers. Al-Qaeda continues to have operational capacity to threaten air traffic around the world, including into and out of the United States.

5. We need to focus on our security, on apprehending Osama bin Laden and other terrorist leaders and on building a credible, effective foreign policy with our allies.

Osama bin Laden has not been caught, yet Vice President Dick Cheney continues to daydream about “weapons of mass destruction” in Iraq, a country that for all practical purposes is in the middle of a brutal civil war, a civil war emanating from politics of greed and deceit…sinister agendas that have absolutely nothing to do with Osama bin Laden and the war on terror. Meanwhile a hapless Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and an irritating and arrogant Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld continue to strut around like castrated peacocks.

Sure, Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator but what did this have to do with the 9-11? Shouldn’t all efforts have been invested in Afghanistan where Osama bin Laden still perches, taunting America to “pee-pee” fits!

The American people need to wake up

America is a great nation, a nation that must learn from what it endured in the past. A nation that must review its bloody racial history and not repeat the same mistakes. A nation that must vet incompetence when electing leaders of high office, for you voted in “third world” incompetence in 2000 and again in 2004.

“The chain reaction of evil—hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars—must be broken, or we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation,”—Martin Luther King Jr. said.

I sincerely hope that America will recuperate and survive the immense moral and emotional damage that has been inflicted upon it over the last six years.

I rest my case.

The question has been posed time and time again, and I never seem to read a satisfying answer – How much does getting a tattoo hurt? Professional tattooists and long-time collectors sometimes tend to forget what it was like to be on the other side of the chair for the first time. Although there is no way for me to tell each individual what it will feel like for them, I will do my best to offer some encouragement.

Comparisons
It’s true that everyone has a different threshold of pain. What one person considers not painful at all could be devastating to another. Some people describe the feeling as a "hot scratch". Some have said it was "annoying". Most say it was not nearly as bad as they feared. But there is a little more than pain alone to consider when getting a tattoo.

Fainting and Tears
You may have heard horror stories about people passing out or crying from the intense pain. First of all, people pass out because their blood sugar drops from not eating or they just allow themselves to get too worked up and their own fear knocks them out. Pain is usually not the culprit when someone faints during a tattoo. As far as crying goes, there are some that find the pain too much to bear. These people are few and far between – don’t assume you’re going to be one of them. I shed a couple tears myself once – after an eight-hour session that was pure torture during the last two from all the stress on my body. More than likely, you are not going to be sitting down to an 8 hour tattooing session! So don’t give in to the horror stories – we moms love to share labor and birth horror stories, but that doesn’t stop girls from having babies!

Fear of Needles or Blood
If you have a fear of needles or blood, getting a tattoo isn’t going to be easy. However, I would like to point out that tattoo needles do not enter the skin very far as many fear – actually, it only goes in about 1/16 of an inch. Take a look at a ruler and you’ll see just how insignificant that is. Another thing you can do is get your tattoo somewhere on your body where you will not be able to watch the work going on. This helps some to overcome the apprehension, by not actually seeing the needle.

The needles move in an up-and-down motion, carefully pushing the ink just below the surface of the skin. The damage to your skin is so minimal that many people don’t bleed at all – or very little. The tattoo artist will also be constantly wiping up your skin to clean off any traces of blood, so it’s done in a very clean and professional manner. Excessive bleeding usually only results when the patron has been drinking alcohol or taking some kind of blood thinner (like aspirin).

I do not consider myself real tolerant of pain. But certain things hurt more than others. I can endure childbirth much better than I can deal with a toothache. I think the end result and the reason you are experiencing the pain can affect how much it hurts. Getting a tattoo is one that I consider worth the discomfort because of the outcome. I know that I’m going to have this beautiful piece of artwork on me that I can be proud of when it’s all said and done.

You are Not Alone
Another thing to consider is the fact that nearly everyone is nervous when they go to get a tattoo. I don’t care how many you already have, there is always a feeling of apprehension when you sit in the chair. This is your body’s natural defense – endorphins. Your own endorphins will kick in and help to ease any pain or discomfort you are about to deal with. The first 60 seconds is usually the worst, and then when you realize it’s just not that bad, you calm down and the rest is smooth sailing.

Learn As Much As You Can
And the number one thing that I find helps me to deal with any situation of feeling anxious is being 100% educated and informed about what I’m getting into. When I wanted to get my first tattoo, I did so much research about the whole process and exactly what to expect that I fell in love with the art. When I finally made the decision to get my first tattoo, I knew exactly what to expect and was not nearly as nervous as I thought I would be.

If you truly want a tattoo, and you take the time to be educated about the process and how to choose the right artist that you can have complete confidence in, I promise you that you will not run out the door screaming due to the pain. You will walk out of that studio with a smile on your face, and your permanent "rite of passage" that is well deserved for overcoming your obstacle of fear.

The Beginner’s Guide to Tattoos is dedicated to those taking the first step into getting a tattoo. I invite you to read this and educate yourself on procedure, safety, and aftercare. This will give you the confidence that it gave me to sit in the chair and get inked for the first time.

How To Save Time Preparing for Your Lower Back Tattoo Design

When getting a lower back tattoo prepare to lay on your stomach for at least 1 hour. Some say that it is best to get your ink while stretched out sitting backwards in a chair though. It is also required that you prepare a clean hairless surface for your tattoo artist to work with. Remember to dress appropriately to give your tattoo artist room to work on your lower back area. Afterwards wear loose waist pants for a few days to allow your new tattoo to heal properly and not disturb the art.

Maori tattoo is so unique because it has a story of its own. Starting among the Maori people, tatuaggi maori has become a great way to express yourself through the art of tattooing, because maori tattoo are not just some tattoos, they are a form of art, and every symbol has its own meaning, his own identity, therefore not everybody chooses this kind of a tattoo.

Maori tattoo are originated in New Zealand. For the Maori people, tatuaggi maori was meant to be more then decorative, the traditional maori tattoo showed strength, courage, and status. Both men and women were tattooed, and the process itself was actually a ritual, with music, chant and fasting. What is rather strange about tatuaggi maori is that it implies an incision with a chisel, which means that it was very painful.

Today, even though theory are not made in the same way, and they don’t stand for the same things anymore, maori tattoo are in vogue, and the bold statement of tatuaggi maori designs are growing in popularity. The celebrities have tried maori tattoo, and people from all around the world have a similar tattoo, in their quest to express their own identity and desires.

What makes tatuaggi maori distinctive and beautiful, are the curved shapes and spirals in intricate patterns. Distinctive for maori tattoo designs is the fact that they are based on the spiral and that they are curvilinear. The most prevalent place for a maori tattoo used to be the face, probably because of the cool New Zealand climate.

The Maori people have stated their traditions on their skin, and the maori tattoo on them say a lot of things about who they are and their personalities. In fact this is what people try these day to state with their own tattoos. This is the reason for which a tatuaggi maori on your body can bring you closer with your inner self, and could reflect exactly your personality.

The business of tattoo removal continues to grow each year. This is because many of those that have tattoos are now beginning to regret them and or are not allowed to have visible tattoos at their place of employment. However, if one wants to get rid of their tattoo, what options do they have? Laser Treatments? Surgery? Topical Treatments?

The first option most people think of is to use a high-powered laser to directly target the pigments in the tattoo until the tattoo is removed. Unfortunately this process is extremely expensive as well as painful. When you try to remove a tattoo via laser treatments, it will require multiple visits depending on the size of the tattoo. These treatments can easily run into the thousands of dollars sometimes costing upwards of $10,000 to thoroughly remove an intricate tattoo. Additionally, most people that use a laser treatment to remove a tattoo complain that it was more painful than having the original tattoo done in the first place.

Another option to have a tattoo removed is having it surgically removed through Dermabrasion techniques. This process is essentially having the skin removed via sand paper until the new skin eventually replaces the tattooed skin. As with laser treatments, this process is expensive and obviously extremely painful which is why it is not recommended and not used by many people.

Finally, there is the alternative option of using a topical tattoo remover like Tat-Med. For the purposes of this article, I will examine both the strengths as well as the weaknesses of Tat-Med.

To begin, it is important to examine the ingredients used in TatMed. The most obvious ingredients are Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid. Alpha Arbutin is arguably the most important ingredient used today in skin lightening treatments such as tattoo removal gels. This is because this specific ingredient has been proven to be effective while at the same time remaining safe to use on the skin. In addition, Kojic Acid has also been proven to be effective and is not as harsh as the name makes it sound.

In fact, Kojic Acid is so safe it is also used on fruits to prevent them from changing color once they are cut. These are the two most important ingredients used in TatMed and are also what help distinguish it from the rest of the other tattoo removal products available. This is because although a few other treatments do rely on these ingredients some tattoo removal products use the potentially harmful TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid). While TCA is recommended by some skin care professionals, there are risks of using a chemical peel at home. If something were to go wrong, you would be extremely limited in terms of receiving immediate medical care.

On the negative side, the ingredients used in tattoo removal creams and gels like Tat-Med may take longer to see results than using a laser to remove the unwanted tattoo.

In conclusion, based on the effectiveness of the ingredients used in Tat-Med, I believe that Tat-Med can fade and help erase unwanted tattoos without risking one’s health.
